InstaMinsta only processes publicly-shared Instagram posts and reels. We do not support private accounts, private stories, or bypassing platform security controls. This developer-written guide explains what 'personal use' means in practice and outlines our strict technical boundaries.

Personal-use guidelines
Saving a reel for offline viewing is a standard personal use case. Sharing it in a group chat with friends while maintaining creator attribution is also acceptable. However, republishing the video on your own commercial channel without permission violates copyright laws.
Instagram's Terms of Use
Instagram's policies restrict scraping and automated data harvesting. InstaMinsta acts strictly on the client side, fetching only the public metadata that any web browser retrieves when displaying an embed card. You remain responsible for complying with the platform's terms of service during your use.
Removal requests
Creators who want their content previews cleared from our caching systems can send the post URL to [email protected]. We process and clear these records within 48 hours.
